Introduction
The Paras Welfare Foundation was established in the Year 2009. To cultivate education and medical needs of helpless poor needy and street children. The organization caters to the need of students not belonging to SC/BC, Rural Area of Gurdaspur but also the students belonging to economically weaker section.
Mission and Vision
To arrange finance assist support established Primary Education, Middle Education, library, computer training centre in rural area falls under border belt, and to provide educational, health relating program to students of all sections. The gross roots level organization has streamlines activity to the level of Primary,
Achievements
We distributed clothes to poor students in the Amarjit Memorial Public School, Bariar, Distt. Gurdaspur. We also distributed free copies or pencil to Poor students in Society office, Dinanagar on Children Day. Society Organize Seminar on " Spoken English & Personality Development for needy students.

COVID 19 outbreak spreading to 140+ countries causing loss of lives and massive decimation of our economies is pushing us to an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. The poor and marginalised will be hugely impacted with the consequences and we, Paras Welfare Foundation is providing the raw foods to the needy and poor families. Our volunteers are going in villages and slum areas and distributing the essential foods to those people who are really in neeed at this Lockdown period. Achievements During the Year 2017-2018

  • On 06-8-2017 annual function was celebrated with cultural programme in the presence of Sh. Jagdish Lal president SC/BC organization. The programme was celebrated of two batches in two terms - In the first batch, Ms. Sapna stood first, Ms. Shivani second and Ms. Harpreet Kaur was stood third. In the second batch Ms. Shallu stood first, Ms. Sapna second and Ms. Sonia stood third in the culture programme.
  • A function was organized on 15.08.2017 being an Independence Day with the staff and a cilture programme was started with Nation Song and National Anthem.
  • On 16.08.2017 the Janam Ashthmi festival was performed by the students and relevant songs, bhajans and importance of Janam Ashthmi was told to the staff.
  • On 20.08.2017 A mehandi competetion was conduct at Narot Jaimal Singh centre. Miss Suman was stood first, Miss Reena second and Miss Neeru was third.
  • Mehandi competetion was conducted in the society on 10.09.2017. Miss Neha and Santantarta was stood first, Miss Anu Bharti and Navjot second and Miss Ripali and Priyanka was stood third.

  • On 09-09-2018 annual function was celebrated with cultural programme in the presence of Sh. Jagdish Lal president SC/BC organization. The programme was celebrated of two batches in two terms - In third batch, Ms. Navjot first, Ms. Bandana second and Ms. Anu Bharti was stood third. In the fourth batch Ms. Priyanka Sharma stood first, Ms. Kirna Devi second and Ms. Neha Sharma stood third in the culture programme. In SOSVA A third batch Miss Mehak first, Miss Shavali second and Miss Prabhjyot third. From Chaunta center Miss Rekha Stood first, Gurdeepak stood second and Miss Reena Stood third position.
  • On 06.10.2018 - A culture programme was organized by students of Narot Jaimal Singh society in the presence of Sh. Joginder Pal, MLA of Bhoa and difficulties which are being faced by the organization were discussed with him and he give good response to the NGO. Student perform various type of performance such as Gigha, Bhangra, Songs and Dances.
  • In the Beautician batch Miss Moshmi stood first, Miss Kumari Lakshmi stood second and Miss Anu Stood third position. In Stiching batch, Miss Usha stood first, Miss Kalpna Stood second and Miss Meenu stood third position.
